A tentative link: the backwards voices on the first song here remind me of The Cure's song Pornography, from the 1982 LP of the same name - an LP which has to be THE most musical embodiment of depression ever recorded. It doesn't matter if we all die... Favorite track: Misanthropy On High.

DenisTheMenace i think Omen is the best buildup ive heard in a song period. its a colosus of a song. the patience is worthy of what comes from it. cool thing if you didnt realize the song basically start at 4.20. I dont smoke anymore but if i were to smoke again it would be to this one. FADE AWAY INTO OBLIVION Favorite track: Omen: I. Strange Geometry, II. Fade Away, III. Life Disintegrates.

This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario
